Van Goethem syndrome is a birth defect that is also called radiodigitofacial dysplasia.
Symptoms and Signs:
The very frequent and common signs of the disorder are anemia, absence or abnormality of the clavicle, difficulties in feeding during infancy, high-vaulted or narrow palate, narrow-sloping shoulders, downturned mouth, platelet disorders, talipes-varus/valgus, short stature or dwarfism, hypoplastic thumb, and hyperglycemia among others.
