Laryngeal cancer can be diagnosed via X-ray imaging.
Treatment:
Larynx cancer can be treated by surgery. In some cases the larynx has to be replaced by a prosthetic device to help generate voice sounds and be able to speak again.
Symptoms and Signs:
Among the symptoms of larynx cancer are sore throat, laryngitis, loss of voice, croup and diphtheria.
Causes:
Larynx cancer is caused by excessive cigarette smoking, alcohol abuse and consumption of harmful substances.
