School Phobia
Definition:

This phobia is the sudden dislike of a young child or fear of going to school which is usually a sign of separation anxiety. Children who have this phobia tend to fake illness and create excuses to avoid going to school. To deal with the phobia it requires awareness of the original school-related issue.

Treatment:

Make children attend school as quickly as possible Psychological treatment Frequently talking to the child regarding the benefits of attending school Proper attention is given especially when it comes to school matters


Symptoms and Signs:

Rage and panic when the school bus arrives Nightmares happens mostly during Sunday evenings


Causes:

Being bullied at school, learning new things at school Separation anxiety due to divorce, serious illness or death in the family
