Definition:
It is a congenital heart defect that originally has four anatomical components and also it is the most common cyanotic heart defect and most usual cause of blue baby syndrome.

Symptoms and Signs:
Low blood oxygen saturation
Heart murmur

Incapability to gain weight
Growth retardation and physical development
Dyspnea on exertion
Fingers are clubbing, toes and polycythemia
Causes:
The known causes of this disease involve four defects in the heart. The condition starts if there were complications during fetal growth where in the abnormalities are ventricular septic defect, overriding aorta, right ventricular hyper trophy and pulmonary valve stenosis.
