Diagnosis:
Diagnosis is made through pelvic examination and examination of the discharge under the microscope.
Treatment:
Treatment includes application of over the counter creams such as miconazole or clotrimazole. Cranberry juice and yogurt are said to be useful in preventing the yeast infections.
Symptoms and Signs:
Symptoms includes abnormal and unusual vaginal discharge which ranges from white and chunky discharg, vaginal bleeding, redness of vagina and itching of the labia, painful urination and painful intercourse.
Causes:
It is said to be caused by Candida Albicans that usually thrived to the vagina, mouth and digestive tract and on the skin.
