Treatment:
Treatment of the tumors is by surgical procedures. The tumors are not malignant.
Symptoms and Signs:
Symptoms of gastronintestinal stromal tumors are difficult to notice, since they share the same as those of other disease that affect the gastrointestinal tract. Among these symptoms are abdominal pain and discomfort.
Causes:
The tumors are caused by genetic mutations in the body.
