Voyeurism is a kind of deviant behavior in which a person fulfills his sexual desires by watching a sexual encounter without necessarily engaging in it. This behavior also involves the acquisition of items used to satisfy one's sexual fantasies, such as female underwear. It is classified as a paraphilia under the code 302.82 under the Diagnostic and Statistic Manual-IV.
