Achondroplastic Dwarfism
Definition:

Achondroplastic Dwarfism is a medical condition characterized by the occurrence of the disturbance of the growth of the bones.


Diagnosis:

Diagnosis is made through physical examination of the patient and undergoing imaging tests such as X-rays.


Treatment:

At present there is no treatment available for the Achondroplastic Dwarfism.


Symptoms and Signs:

Symptoms includes decreased muscle tone, spinal stenosis, spinal curvatures, frontal bossing, abnormal appearance of the long and ring fingers, and short arms and legs.


Causes:

It is an inherited autosomal dominant trait.
