Cerebral vermis agenesis refers to the partial or complete malfunction of the brain's cerebellum due to the agenesis of the vermis. It is a congenital disorder.

Treatment:
There is no treatment available for the illness.
Symptoms and Signs:
The main symptoms found in the disease are ataxia and hypotonia. Other conditions meanwhile are recognized as the child grows older, such as mental retardation.
Causes:
Cerebellar vermis agenesis is has two subtypes, depending on the cause. Partial agenesis is autosomal dominant, while complete agenesis is autosomal recessive.
