Dysmetabolic syndrome is a group of metabolic disorders in the blood serum that increases one's risk of heart disease. It is characterized by abnormal uric acid levels, factor imbalance and vascular problems.


Diagnosis:

The syndrome can be diagnosed based on the metabolic levels measured on the patient's body system.


Treatment:

There is no specific treatment for the syndrome, only avoidance of the agents that may cause the syndrome. Among these procedures are weight loss, proper diet and exercise as well as limited alcohol consumption.


Symptoms and Signs:

There are no specific symptoms of the disorder.


Causes:

Dysmetabolic syndrome can be incurred by people suffering from obesity, diabetes and insulin resistance. The syndrome can cause damages to the arteries, kidneys, heart attacks and nerve illnesses.
