Patellofemoral syndrome is common muscular condition in which chronic pain under the kneecap is felt.
Treatment:
Treatment can be done by proper exercise and adequate rest. Cold compress applications also help reduce the pain.
Causes:
It is caused by staying at a stationary position for a long period of time. The exact causes for the pain is unknown, but studies associate the aching with the way the kneecap moves against the thigh bone.
