Deuteranopia
Definition:

Deuteranopis is a medical disability that is usually associated and form of color blindness whereby there is lack of medium-wavelength cones which makes a person unable to distinguish colors in the green yellow and red section of the spectrum.


Diagnosis:

Diagnosis is made through undergoing Ishihara color test and the use of anomaloscope.


Treatment:

There is no specific treatment for Daltonism but the use of contact lenses may help the person with the condition to distinguish colors.


Symptoms and Signs:

Symptom of Daltonism includes the inability of the person to perceive the difference between the colors.


Causes:

Daltonism is usually genetic and Utraviolet Damages to the eyes.
