Dialysis-Related Amyloidosis is the medical condition where there is protein deposits resulting from kidney dialysis treatments which causes damage to the surrounding tissues,
Diagnosis:
Diagnosis is made through blood tests and CBC.
Treatment:
Treatment include kidney transplantation.
Symptoms and Signs:
The symptom of Dialysis-Related Amyloidosis includes joint pain and stiffness, accumulation of fluid, bone fractures, tear of the ligaments and tendon tears.
Causes:
It is said to be caused by accumulation of protein deposits in the kidney due to kidney dialysis.
