Diarrheagenic Escherichia Coli
Definition:

Diarrheagenic Escherichia coli is a medical condition where there is excessive diarrhea caused by the Escherichia Coli or E.Coli bacteria. It is passed from one person to another through water and food contamination.


Diagnosis:

Diagnosis is made through blood tests and CBC.


Treatment:

Treatments includes adminsitration of anti diarrheal agents, lactose free diet and treatment by gastroenterolgist and oncologist which may advised surgery in some cases.


Symptoms and Signs:

Symptoms includes water and bloody diarrhea, abdominal cramps and pain and fever.


Causes:

Diarrheagenic Escherichia coli is said to becaused by the Escherichia Coli or E.Coli bacteria that is found in contaminated food and water.
