Treatment:
As with other forms of cancer, the treatment options for tongue cancer are surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy, or a combination of these.
Symptoms and Signs:
Among the symptoms of tongue cancer are unexplainanble red and white patch on the tongue, sore spot on the tongue, sore throat, pain when swallowing, numbness in the mouth, and unexplained bleeding.
Causes:
There is no exact cause for tongue cancer. However, tongue cancer is believed to be a complication of smoking and drinking a lot of alcohol.
