Definition:
Anarthrtic syndrome is a rheumatic ailment that affects the neck, hips and shoulders. It is also called polymyalgia rheumatica. It can develop overnight. It is not a life-threatening disease.
Diagnosis:
Diagnosis can be done by observing the symptoms of the illness.
Treatment:
The disease resolves on its own without the need of medical treatment. Adequate rest and massage can help reduce the pain in the affected areas.
Symptoms and Signs:
Among the symptoms of anarthritic syndrome are severe pain in the neck, shoulders, hips and other joints. Mild swelling and stiffness in these areas usually occur.
Causes:
This rheumatic disease is caused by the inflammation of the surrounding tissues in the joints. This can be due to a genetic defect, the body’s reaction to changing climate, as well as aging.
