Chiblain is a term used to refer to the inflammation of the skin that is usually occurs in the toes and fingers during cold weather .

Diagnosis is made through physical examination of the patient and review of his or her personal medical history.
Treatment:
Treatment includes application of heat in the body, administration of corticosteroid creams to lessen the swelling and itchiness.
Symptoms and Signs:
Symptoms of the Chiblain includes redness, swelling, tenderness and itching of the affected skin which is usually in the toes, hands and the legs especially the lower parts.
Causes:
Chiblain is said to be caused by the localized deficiency in the blood circulation.
